Situated the Burrard Inlet waterfront in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Place is a mixed-use commercial facility centre. Resembling a long ship with multi sails, Canada Place is really a beautiful structure. Like Opera House in Australia, the white sails of the building have made it a prominent landmark for the city. Canada Place is also a home to the Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre, Vancouver's World Trade Centre, the Pan Pacific Hotel, and other restaurants.

The first permanent IMAX 3D Theatre of the world is located in this building that hosts many impressive events. If you have never enjoyed a night out, then you must experience it at the IMAX movies. You can always select some thing from their frequently changing program schedule. Besides, the building also houses Port Metro Vancouver Corporate Offices, Cruise Ship Terminal (Operated by Port Metro Vancouver) and VINCI Park parking facility.

To accommodate another cruise ship berth, the construction of Canada Place was expanded in 2001 and even now it is under-construction to get a companion building over the water. Come the 2010 Winter Olympics, and this new building will also serve as the international media centre with its additional Conventional Centre facilities.
