Sea Kayaking
Visit any day on the water of Burrard Inlet and find several sea kayaks enjoying glide along the sea shore. Places such as the False Creek and Granville Island are popular destinations for sea kayaking in Vancouver.

Swimming at the Vancouver Park and Recreation Board is safe and great fun as you get lifeguards to support in case of any danger. Vancouver Aquatic Centre, the UBC swimming pool and Kitsilano and Second Beach pools are good for toddlers and adults alike.

White Water Rafting
People who wish to experience and enjoy a wild adventure with water can try white water rafting at the Elaho, the Nahatlatch, the Squamish and the Thompson. Just take a ride in a rubber raft at roaring current and feel the thrill!

Since Vancouver does not have consistent winds, it is the perfect place to learn windsurfing. English Bay or Jericho Beaches are good for beginners where you take lessons by renting windsurfers. The Squamish is known for having the best windsurfing conditions, so you can enjoy high-wind sailing.
