Men’s gold-medal Olympic hockey is perhaps the most-preferred game as 1,000 tickets were sold within minutes. According to the officials of Vancouver Organizing Committee for 2010 Olympic, demand had been very strong during second phase of 2010 ticket sales.

After reviewing the seating plans of venue, the committee had made more than 200,000 tickets available and a large number of tickets were booked within the first hour of sales. Besides hockey and opening ceremony, speed skating figure skating tickets were also sold in large number.

While sports like ice hockey and victory ceremony still have tickets available there are limited tickets for some other sports. VANCO plans to launch another phase of ticket sales on this coming fall.
