Sale of Paralympic tickets begins in Vancouver

Sale of the tickets for upcoming Paralympic Games have been launched officially by VANCO - the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Around 250,000 tickets will be made available on the basis of first come, first serve.

It was a huge celebration at the Library Square Conference at the North Promenade in Vancouver with the executive Vice presidents of VANCO, Dave Cobb and Caley Denton. The Paralympic mascot, Sumi was also there along with four participants of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games.

Regardless of citizenship, all Canadians can purchase these tickets from Vancouver Organizing Committee either online or box office or by phone. Non-Canadians however will have to get the tickets from their respective National Paralympic Committees. Visit www.vancouver2010.com for more information.
